Alejandra and the entire team made my wedding dress experience incredibly special. I was grateful to be able to choose a custom color for the Mexicolor wedding dress. I love the Rosa Mexicano pink skirt! Just look how lovely it all turned out! My dress helped me shine on our special day. Walking down the aisle with my now wife, was magical, and my dress was an homage to my Mexican American identity, my culture, my spirit, and my pride. May the world continue to bless the lovely artisans and Cadena Collective! I will encourage everyone and especially plus sized brides to trust the process with Cadena! And also please take note, that although the dress arrived in time for my wedding and technically it fit my body, it needed altering. I had requested the spaghetti like straps to be widened/custom straps, although they were wider than the pattern on the original design, the wider straps that came with the dress still did not work for my plus sized body. Because my big body and back needed more support and structure, just a few weeks before my wedding, I had to meet in a time sensitive manner with a local trustworthy and very talented seamstress. She redid the straps in a very short timeframe and created hook and eye connectives with much wider and stronger straps for greater support. She also sewed in support cups to better support my breasts. If I hadn’t had her support, the dress would have still fit, but I would not have been confident enough to go without the shrug I ordered. It was unseasonably warm for our November wedding, so I was thrilled that my local talented seamstress helped me feel confident in my beautiful custom dress! I wore my dress well into the night when many loved ones had changed into comfier clothes. I can’t wait to enjoy my amazing dress again on other special occasions! Hopefully Cadena can learn from this experience to help better support future plus size brides to possibly have these issues addressed by the artisans on the front end when making their dress. I’m so pleased with Cadena and my wedding dress. I highly recommend to anyone in the market for a custom, beautiful dress. Thank you Alejandra and team! Rebekah
I couldn't find a dress that was made of cotton anywhere until I found Cadena. This dress is a dream. I only had to get it very minimally altered because I wanted to change the thin straps to something thicker and not adjustable. I love the amount of skin it showed while still being beautiful and classy, especially with my floor length veil. It is a work of art that I will never sell. I was proud to wear this and show off bits of my Mexican heritage through my wedding dress. Amazing customer service from start to finish and the price for such a work of art is unbeatable. I literally dream about wearing it again!
Buying my wedding dress through Nayibi was the BEST decision I could have made. My dress came to me in 10 weeks and was a PERFECT fit with the custom measurements; no further adjustments needed! Such a stunning dress! The embroidery is gorgeous and unique – truly a work of art. I love the fabric of the skirt. The manta cotton is a beautiful ivory with a lovely texture, high-quality without being too delicate, which made traveling with it less stressful. And the well-crafted pockets were a welcome touch on the busy, big day. Not only is the dress perfect, but Cadena saved my sanity with their ordering process. My previous attempts at dress shopping were confusing and convoluted; Cadena made ordering and taking measurements clear and straightforward. Such a stunning dress! Absolutely loved the process of purchasing this dress and they were so quick to answer all of my questions. I preordered by dress in Feb 2023, just a month after I found out I was pregnant. I had my eyes on this dress for months prior and my husband and I had already picked a wedding date. I knew I wanted it as my wedding dress from the very beginning! When I learned I was pregnant I was so worried about my dress thinking I wouldn't be able to wear/get the one I wanted. After placing my pre-order, I got in touch with the Cadena Collective team when the sent over the measurement instructions to let them know I was pregnant and would be 9 months pregnant on my wedding date and asked if there would be any way to accommodate to the timing and sizing/alterations. They were more than happy to help and work with me. Cadena Collective and the Nayibi team made it happen and worked with me to accommodate my growing belly and rapidly changing body! I couldn't be more grateful. I wanted to cry. The dress arrived with two weeks before my wedding date (due to the tight timeline) and it fit P E R F E C T L Y. I'm so grateful I got to wear the dress I wanted. Cadena Collective team was so personable and made me feel so valued as a customer. They responded to all of my messages in a timely manner. A huge thanks to the Nayibi team as well for being so accommodating and making my dress so quickly! I got to have the dress I wanted and feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I ordered my wedding dress mid Feb 2023 and received it mid April 2023. Mabel was there for me every step of the way and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. Everything about my experience with Cadena has been phenomenal. The dress is absolutely stunning. It is everything I imagined and hoped for!!
